EXTERNAL (Elevated)

  • Check Vehicle Under body For Damage-Advise Supervisor
  • Check lower arm suspension bushes
  • Check Callipers for Leakage
  • Check exhaust system for leakage, corrosion and security
  • Check drive shafts and couplings for wear
  • Check condition of rubber boots or gaiters
  • Check road springs/hydraulic units, pipes, shock absorbers
    • and mountings for corrosion, leaks, damage and security
  • Check fuel lines for leaks and security
  • Check all visible brake pipes and hoses for corrosion, damage, leaks and security
  • Check brake discs, drums and pads
  • Check handbrake for security and damage and adjust if required
  • Remove sump plug and drain engine oil. Also replace oil filter
  • Check gearbox oil and top up using recommended oil
  • Check and top up final drive using recommended oil
  • Check front and rear wheel bearings for excessive play
  • Check steering and suspension linkage. Lubricate if required
  • Check steering rack / box for security -- wear and leakage
  • Check tyre tread and condition

Road Test

  • Check for body damage
  • Check for wheel damage
  • Check all tyres are legal before road test
  • Road Test and Check Steering Wheel Alignment & Report Any Concerns
